Ingredients
Bitter gourd -3
Onion -1
Tomato -1
Garlic -7 cloves
Curry leaves -8
Tamarind juice -1/4 cup
Mustard -1/2 teaspoon
Raw rice -1 teaspoon
Jeera -1 teaspoon
Toor dal - 1 teaspoon
Red chilly -3
Turmeric powder -1/8 teaspoon
Coriander powder -1 teaspoon
chilly powder -1 teaspoon
Jaggery -1 inch piece
Salt -1 teaspoon
Gingelly oil -4 teaspoon
To Grind
Fry the rice,toor dal and jeera in a dry pan and grind the fried ingredients and make a fine powder
Method
Heat the pan and add gingelly oil then add mustard and let it pop,add curry leaves garlic and chilly
Cook for 1 min and add chopped onion after they cook add chopped tomato
Add salt,turmeric powder and cook for 3 min then add the finely chopped bitter gourd,stir well and cook for 10 min then add Coriander powder,chilly powder and tamarind juice,cook them for 10 min
Finally add the ground powder and salt.Cook until the oil leaves from the thokku
