Ingredients
Dosa/Idli Batter -1 cup
Chopped Onion -1/4 cup
Green chilly -1
Ginger -1/4 inch
Grated Beetroot -3 teaspoon
Mustard -1/2 teaspoon
Jeera -1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves -1 spirg
Urad dal -1 teaspoon
Asafoetida -1 pinch
oil -1 teaspoon
Salt -1/2 teaspoon
Method
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds,after it pops add jeera and curry leaves then add urad dal and fry it.Add chopped onion,chilly and minced ginger,after it cooks add the grated beetroot ,salt and asafoetida.Cook for 1 min and add this mixture to the dosa batter and mix well.
Heat the paniyaram pan and add little oil and pour the batter with the spoon
Add some oil on the sides of paniyaram and cook on both sides and remove from the pan
